Combining Classroom and Home Instruction
Orthodox Christian Education “for the Life of the World” A Homeschool Hybrid Program in the Classical Tradition.
Welcome to St Nicholas Academic Community
At St. Nicholas Academic Community, we are devoted to providing children with an Orthodox education rooted in the life of the Church and guided by the truth of the Gospel rightly lived. We believe education is not simply the pursuit of knowledge, but the formation of the whole person—mind, body, and soul—through grace, virtue, discipline, and humility.
Inspired by the words of St. Clement of Alexandria, who taught that “the primary lesson for children is to know the eternal God,” our community seeks to support families and the Church in raising children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Through learning, prayer, and participation in the rhythms of Orthodox life, we aim to cultivate students who grow in wisdom, character, and likeness to Christ.

Setting a Spiritual & Academic Foundation
At St. Nicholas Academic Community, our classes are designed to support both the spiritual and academic formation of students within a Christ-centered community. Through thoughtful instruction, meaningful relationships, and rhythms rooted in the life of the Orthodox Church, we seek to cultivate a love of learning that nourishes the whole child.

“The primary lesson for life must be implanted in the soul from the earliest age. The primary lesson for children is to know the eternal God, the One who gives everlasting life.”
St. Clement of Alexandria
